My Name is Sherri. I accepted Christ at 14 years old yet God was making Himself real to me even at a very young age.  I have been discipled in a pentecostal faith yet the Lord has had me go beyond denomination and into a more personal reality of His Holy Presence.    I have been greatly influenece by such great men of God as A.W Tozer, Pink, Ravenhill - such men that preach a solid gospel and not watered down.  I desire to see revival in this generation - a great true outpouring of the Holy Ghost where men and women come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ through repentant hearts and receiving the finished work of Jesus Christ - thereby being redeemed from the curse of the law and satan's dominion being made alive unto God - being made Children of God.   I desire to see whole nations come under the convicting power of the Holy Ghost and see satan's kingdom driven back by the soldiers of Christ in this generation who are so on fire for God, so consumed with His Passions, so alive to His Purposes that never cease to go about doing God's Work - they do indeed work the works of God while it is still yet day for the night comes when no man can work.   I am believing God for the miraculous in this generation - there is nothing impossible for God to do! Hello my name is Linda c. I am the second Linda on the site so if you request me put Linda c in your request. I'm married with 3 adult children and 5 grandchildren. I'm 54 & I live in Australia. I'm a Spirit filled Christian and I love Gods faithfulness, love, compassion, and grace towards mankind.
I have experienced Gods answered prayers first hand and had healing emotionally and physically and seen God (sometimes) heal relationships that often seemed past help to the natural understanding. I believe that we as Christians need to learn more about forgiveness from the Holy Spirit if we want to be forgiven as God says in the Lords Prayer.
The Great Commission is also something I would like to be involved in in anyway I can. I enjoy encouraging Christians of whatever age to also be involved in some cap acity as they are gifted or led by the Holy Spirit - "Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well." And I also believe that we are called to minister in a simlar vein as in this scripture:
The Spirit of the Lord is on me,
      because he has anointed me
      to preach good news to the poor.
   He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners
      and recovery of sight for the blind,
   to release the oppressed,
     to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor." Along with the scripture that says not by your might not by your power but by my spirit says the Lord .
I believe that a lot of people are in bondage unnecessarily and have forgotten what Jesus said about binding and loosening- where He said I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be^{[ bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven." And to bind the strong man first then you can plunder his goods}.
I would also like to encourage and pray for people so that they can find a deeper more genuine relationship with God. A relationship where they can really love him for who He is and not just for what He can do or give. Sometimes it does take breakthroughs and deliverances and so many other things for people to get into a closer walk with God and prayer is always the best way to start.
I love and want to encourage all evangelists they are so special to me and I provide prayer support for them as they are on the front line and right in the face of the enemy, and they need prayer support and encouragement from all the body of Christ. There is a time and season for every purpose under heaven and sometimes people don’t come into the kingdom for years but that is not a reason to lose heart as its all about God’s timing. They can not come unless the Father draws them so we need to pray to the Lord of the harvest to send more workers into the field for the harvest truly is plentiful but the workers are so few. ‘Eternity is forever’ and we as Christians need to take as many into heaven with us as we can. We need to work while it is still light as the word says. We need to pray the lost into salvation through the Blood of Jesus and that God fills them with the Precious Holy Spirit. That’s why we need to love Him as much as we can because God is just so good to us all the time.
